Council Appoints Jon Peroff to Fill Vacant Seat

The Council of the Corporation of the Township of Hornepayne has appointed Jon Peroff to fill a vacant seat on Council at a special meeting held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025.  

The vacancy was declared at the October 8, 2025, Council meeting, where Council chose a Call for Nominees process. Eligible electors applied through the Clerk, and each of the qualified candidates had the opportunity to address Council and answer questions at yesterday’s special meeting.

Jon Peroff was officially sworn in during the special meeting and will serve for the remainder of the current Council term.
