Water and Sewer Bill Due

First quarter due March 31st.

Property owners are responsible for paying their property taxes by the due date regardless if the bill did not arrive in the mail or if the due date falls on a weekend or holiday.

It is the responsibility of the owner to make other arrangements for payment if the town hall is closed on a due date. See other payment options for more information.

UPDATE: Water Line Repairs and Road Closure

UPDATE March 27th, 2:40 p.m.

Repair Complete. Portion of Queen Street (between 12 and 23) remains closed until further notice.

THURSDAY, MARCH 27TH

The following addresses may experience a disruption to water service:

95 to 115 Pine Street
10 to 51 Queen Street
35 to 138 Riverside Drive
1 to 6 Roundhouse Road

Road closure and/or lane reductions may occur at the above location. Detours will be posted.

Repairs can last up to 8 hours.

Fitness Facility Closed for Upcoming Event

Please be advised that the fitness facility will be closed on the following dates due to special events:

Closing Mixed Bonspiel
April 2 - 9 - reopening April 10

All active memberships will be temporarily suspended during the closures. Upon reopening, the suspended days will be added to the membership expiry date accordingly.

Curbside Pickup

Notice to Residents

The Township of Hornepayne reminds all residents that garbage must be placed in bags and stored in appropriate containers to be eligible for curbside collection. Loose bags left at the curb will not be picked up.

There have been reports of loose garbage bags being left for pickup. This creates unnecessary mess, poses a hazard to collection crews, and encourages wild animals to enter residential areas. To maintain a clean and safe community, please ensure that all garbage is properly contained before placing it at the curb.
