Nuclear Waste Community Liaison Committee (NWCLC)

The Hornepayne Nuclear Waste Community Liaison Committee (NWCLC) was established by the Township of Hornepayne Municipal Council in October 2011 after the Township of Hornepayne entered the Nuclear Waste Management of Ontario's Learn More Program.  The main Committee objective is to help Hornepayne residents learn more about Canada's plan for used nuclear fuel.

Committee members are appointed by Council and the Committee meets on a monthly basis.  All meetings are open to the public and residents are encouraged to come out and Learn More.
