The primary role of the Bookkeeper/Cashier is to maintain Municipal accounts with respect to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Water and Sewer, Taxation and account adjustments. They are also responsible for processing Payroll in accordance with current Legislation, By-Laws and Collective Agreements, receive & direct public, in person or on the telephone, various secretarial duties as assigned by CAO/Clerk, Treasurer or other Department Heads and issuing Tax Certificates.
